SEX TIPS 101 EXPOSES THE “WHY” OF DEEPTHROATING AS A CONFRONTATIONAL SEXUAL ACT

SEX TIPS; NUMBER ONE:  ART OR SEX

With this post today, we thought that we’d dive off the high-board and straight into the deep end. We could have gently slid into the shallow end of the pool enticing you with “polite” “soft” sex tips and techniques, instead we have decided to break the icy depths with a sexual topic that raises varying emotions and can be quite confronting.

Why is “deep throating” so confronting?

  • It can conjure up visions of lewdness as to “the kind of person” who would perform this sexual act.
  • Memories of an aggressive sexual experience may surface, along with the emotional trauma attached to the previous sexual experience.
  • Thoughts and feelings of sexual inadequacy can become evident.

We will go deeper into this “deep throatsex tips series in our next posts.

WOMEN & SEX: WOMEN WITH OVARIAN CANCER

OVARIAN CANCER A KILLER

What is ovarian cancer?

I now know that most women diagnosed with ovarian cancer are already in the advanced stages of the disease.

As cancers go, it is one of the most deadliest. 80-100% of women who are detected and treated early, will live past another 5 years. Women who are not detected until the late stages of ovarian cancer, have a 20-30% survival rate in comparison.

Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor of the ovary. The ovaries, part of the female reproductive system, are situated on either side of the uterus (womb). They produce eggs and hormones. Cells in our body generally grow in a controlled manner, when they progress abnormally, they form what is called – a growth or a tumor. This can either be benign, not classed as cancerous and will not spread uncontrollably. Or when cancerous, such as a malignant tumor, it will constantly spread through the body unless it is diagnosed and treated.

Research is continuing into this killer cancer. The goal being to decrease the mortality rate of women with ovarian cancer, to improve management and survival of the women affected by this disease.

There is also a mission to develop and provide women with an early detection test for ovarian cancer. That it to, will become as readily accessible as the pap smear and mammogram.

WOMEN & SEX: OVARIAN CANCER EXPOSED

OVARIAN CANCER AFFECTS THE HEALTH OF WOMEN

Peering into ovarian cancer under the microscope has exposed a number of confusing facts:

  • As ovarian cancer often displays no obvious symptoms in the early stages of the disease, most women with ovarian cancer are likely not to be diagnosed until they are in the advanced stages of the disease.

  • Most symptoms of ovarian cancer are non-specific, vague, and common for many women during menstruation. They may include:
  • Bloating
  • Low backache
  • Vague pain in the abdomen
  • Unexplained weight changes
  • Abnormal vaginal bleeding
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • And as the information states, this could be related to a number of other health problems

Confused? I know I am.

Michel.

WOMEN & SEX: OVARIAN CANCER EXPOSED IN WOMEN’S SEXUAL HEALTH

CONCERN FOR WOMEN

By being a part of the collective of women living on this planet, I am very interested in keeping myself up-to-date and informed on all areas of women’s sexual health.

Whilst reading the latest articles on ovarian cancer, I was surprised at the exposed statistics in relationship to this disease:

  • In Australia, a woman dies every 10 hours from ovarian cancer.
  • The Australian women who remain unaware of ovarian cancer is over 50%
  • A pap smear will not detect ovarian cancer
  • Women who are not diagnosed with ovarian cancer until it is in the advanced stages, rates at a staggering 70% of cases.
  • Ovarian cancer, may be often diagnosed incorrectly as menopause or irritable bowel syndrome

Yikes! What can I possibly do to recognize such a silent disease, when the early stages of ovarian cancer often have no obvious outward symptoms?

MEN & SEX: BELIEFS EXPOSED OF MEN’S SEXUALITY IN MIDDLE AGE

EXPOSING SEXUAL MYTHS

As the years are passing, middle-age is upon me.

WHAT! “Middle-aged” that’s something I have always had the belief, that this was my father and his generation, not me.

After all, when I was a younger man, I lived a very full and active life, trekking, scuba diving, motocross riding, amongst a few of my more active pursuits, including a “sizzling” sex life.

Middle age is so not me. In my head (my myths) I was still in my early twenties and still doing these things.

BIG MISTAKE

I have, over my sexual life-time become aware of different sexual problems that have arisen.

The first question I asked myself, (after having woken up to the reality of what I had become) was,

“How did this happen?” I just didn’t really notice the subtlety of what was changing in my body, and in my head.

This explains why I’ve been feeling frustrated, not so good about myself for not performing sexually as I would have expected, and dissatisfied with my life in general. And yes, all of this has impacted in negative ways upon the relationships I have had, and am having, with my lovers and my children.

Next question, “What do I do now?”

Avec l’amour,
Michael
